The Accel Direct file
The Accel Direct Funding, LLC excerpt in our library describes an existing judgment and an order-to-show-cause proceeding. It is a later-stage collection example, not simply a new payment demand.
Its settlement combines a fresh payment with a conditional release of funds. That structure calls for a written accounting of the money already restricted, the money being added and the credit each transfer receives. It should not be presented as though the entire settlement were new cash paid by the business.
- Entity in the document
- Accel Direct Funding, LLC.
- Stage illustrated
- An existing judgment and related court proceedings.
- Key distinction
- $15,000 in payments plus $5,905.50 in conditional fund releases.
- Independent legal representation
- Business Debt Law Group is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting for Accel Direct Funding.
The Accel total includes funds already subject to release.
The excerpt identifies a $51,905.82 judgment balance and a $20,905.50 settlement: $15,000 plus $5,905.50 through a conditional release. It says the conditional release will be sent upon processing the $15,000. That sequence matters when planning access to restricted cash.

Partial, redacted excerpt from one matter. Other pages, amendments and later events may affect these terms. This discussion does not summarize the complete agreement or case. Acceptance, completed payment, releases and the final outcome require verification from the complete records. This is not a standard offer or promised result. Past results do not guarantee a similar outcome.
Separate the payment, release instruction and court paperwork.
Confirm who holds the $5,905.50 or any comparable amount in your matter, what notice or order caused the restriction and how the transfer will be credited. A promise to send a release is a different event from the holder receiving it, processing it and applying the money.
The example contains a five-day period after written notification for certain missed or returned payments, followed by language allowing pursuit of the current balance less payments. Review the precise trigger, notice recipient and delivery method. It is not a universal five-day rule for Accel accounts.
The visible terms call for a stipulation of discontinuance following full payment and assign filing responsibility and a stated filing fee to the defendant. Where a judgment already exists, also ask what satisfaction or other judgment-related record is required. Discontinuance, satisfaction and removal of a funds restriction address different records.
Where does your Accel Direct matter stand?
MCA payments are too much
Build the proposal around both available cash and any restricted funds that may count toward settlement.
Receivables or accounts are affected
Obtain the actual restraint, levy or processor notice and written instructions showing who must release or transfer the money.
Court papers have arrived
Include the judgment and order-to-show-cause papers so the review starts with the current procedural posture.
Four practical first steps.
- Check for a court deadline. If you received court papers, identify where the case is filed and when a response is due. Settlement discussions do not automatically extend a deadline.
- Put the records in one place.Collect the agreement, payment history, bank statements, and every notice. Preserve emails and texts, including any proposed settlement terms.
- Review a proposed change before signing.A new agreement, acknowledgment, release, or guarantee can affect your rights and obligations. Have its terms reviewed in context.
- Discuss a plan for your actual situation.Ask which legal or negotiation options fit the documents, cash flow, and litigation status—and what representation would cost.
Accel Direct MCA questions, answered.
Does the Accel example require $20,905.50 in entirely new payments?
The excerpt divides that total into $15,000 and $5,905.50 through a conditional release. It should be understood using both sources, with each credit documented. Your proposed terms may differ.
When would restricted funds become available?
The document’s release sequence and the holder’s processing requirements matter. A signed settlement alone does not establish when a bank or other holder will act.
Does discontinuing a lawsuit satisfy an existing judgment?
Do not assume those steps are interchangeable. Ask counsel which filings are needed to address the lawsuit, judgment and any related enforcement measures in your matter.
Can an Accel judgment still be reviewed?
Yes. Bring the judgment, service history, payment ledger and current enforcement papers. Available legal or negotiated options depend on those records and applicable deadlines.
What does the free MCA review cover?
The initial consultation can address your MCA agreement, payment pressure, collection communications or case status. Consultations are free. Any retained legal-service fees are separate and addressed in the engagement terms.
