The Saturn Encore file
The redacted agreement in BDLG’s library names Saturn Encore Funding as the purchaser and refers to an earlier receivables purchase agreement. It covers a seller and guarantor, and describes a $12,000 settlement paid to the purchaser’s attorney.
The excerpt requires monthly $1,000 wire payments to be received by the stated cutoff. Its default clause calls for a written notice by email and refers to five days after receipt to cure the default.
A separately filed Saturn Encore contract is titled Revenue Purchase Agreement. That public filing supports the need to examine the actual receivables terms; it does not establish that the contract or court record in your matter is identical.

A monthly plan with an email-notice trigger
The excerpt requires receipt of monthly $1,000 wire payments by 5 p.m. EST on redacted dates. It says the purchaser or its attorney will email a written default notice and describes a five-day cure period after receipt. For an uncured default, it references $38,202.37 less payments tendered under the agreement. The remaining pages and actual notices are necessary to assess how those terms apply.

Partial, redacted excerpt from one matter. Other pages, amendments and later events may affect these terms. This discussion does not summarize the complete agreement or case. Acceptance, completed payment, releases and the final outcome require verification from the complete records. This is not a standard offer or promised result. Past results do not guarantee a similar outcome.
Preserve the notice—not just a screenshot of the amount
Keep the original email with its headers, attachments and delivery information. Identify the address specified for notices and whether any valid amendment changed it. The relevant issue may be when and how notice was received, not simply when a collection representative says it was sent.
Have counsel check how the five-day provision operates in your complete agreement. Do not silently convert it to five business days or treat it as an extension of a court deadline. Ask which payment or other action is required to cure the claimed default and obtain written confirmation of the credited result.
The payment provision refers to receipt by the purchaser’s attorney. Account for bank processing and verify authorized wire instructions through a known channel. If payment was sent but receipt is disputed, preserve both the bank record and all communications about the transfer.
Where does your Saturn Encore matter stand?
MCA payments are too much
Review monthly affordability and ask about a documented change before another receipt deadline is missed.
Receivables or accounts are affected
Preserve any demand or restriction and compare it with the notice and cure provisions actually signed.
Court papers have arrived
Track the court response date separately; the settlement’s email cure period is a different issue.
Four practical first steps.
- Check for a court deadline. If you received court papers, identify where the case is filed and when a response is due. Settlement discussions do not automatically extend a deadline.
- Put the records in one place.Collect the agreement, payment history, bank statements, and every notice. Preserve emails and texts, including any proposed settlement terms.
- Review a proposed change before signing.A new agreement, acknowledgment, release, or guarantee can affect your rights and obligations. Have its terms reviewed in context.
- Discuss a plan for your actual situation.Ask which legal or negotiation options fit the documents, cash flow, and litigation status—and what representation would cost.
Saturn Encore MCA questions, answered.
Are the five days business days?
The visible clause says five days. Do not rewrite it as business days; counsel should review the complete provision and applicable rules.
Does the period start when the email is sent?
The excerpt refers to receipt of the notice. The actual communication and agreement need review.
Is initiating a wire enough?
The visible payment language requires receipt by the purchaser’s attorney. Confirm the complete requirements and retain transfer evidence.
Does this extend my time to answer a lawsuit?
Not by itself. Identify any separate court deadline and any valid extension or order.
