The MCA Servicing file
BDLG’s public excerpt identifies MCA Servicing Company as the purchaser under a receivables purchase agreement. It describes a $28,294.20 outstanding balance and a lawsuit, followed by $14,728 in settlement terms.
In an April 23, 2024 Rockland County decision, MCA Servicing Company represented that it was an assumed name of Newco Capital Group VI LLC. The court denied both its summary-judgment motion and the defendants’ motion to dismiss, leaving disputed issues for further proceedings. That ruling was not a final victory for either side.
The decision concerns a different matter from the redacted settlement example. It does not establish that every similarly named servicer or Newco entity is interchangeable. Verify the purchaser, any assumed name and the specific contract and docket in your own file.

Partial, redacted excerpt from one matter. Other pages, amendments and later events may affect these terms. This discussion does not summarize the complete agreement or case. Preserve the request, the response and the underlying receipts
In the 2024 decision, disputed reconciliation requests and other factual issues prevented summary judgment. The court also declined to dismiss the action. The practical lesson is to preserve the actual requests, responses and revenue records; a later description of a phone conversation may not tell the complete story.
Build a dated record of requests, documents supplied, withdrawals and returned-payment notices. Compare that record with the reconciliation and default provisions in your agreement. Do not assume another merchant’s contract, allegations or ruling decides your matter.
If a settlement is offered, match its defined purchase agreement and lawsuit to your records. Review the full Schedule A, verify payment instructions and confirm what documents are required to close the case and address any remaining lien or restraint. Keep this separate from any unrelated MCA obligation.
Where does your MCA Servicing matter stand?
MCA payments are too much
Review documented receipts and reconciliation requests before evaluating a new payment arrangement.
Receivables or accounts are affected
Match demands, account restrictions and the proposed release to the correct purchaser and contract.
Court papers have arrived
Bring the complete docket and underlying records; another case’s motion ruling does not determine your response deadline or result.
Four practical first steps.
- Check for a court deadline. If you received court papers, identify where the case is filed and when a response is due. Settlement discussions do not automatically extend a deadline.
- Put the records in one place.Collect the agreement, payment history, bank statements, and every notice. Preserve emails and texts, including any proposed settlement terms.
- Review a proposed change before signing.A new agreement, acknowledgment, release, or guarantee can affect your rights and obligations. Have its terms reviewed in context.
- Discuss a plan for your actual situation.Ask which legal or negotiation options fit the documents, cash flow, and litigation status—and what representation would cost.
MCA Servicing MCA questions, answered.
Did the 2024 ruling dismiss MCA Servicing’s lawsuit?
No. It denied both the funder’s summary-judgment motion and the defendants’ dismissal motion.
Is every Newco company the same legal party?
Do not assume that. The cited case identifies an assumed-name position involving Newco Capital Group VI LLC; your own documents must be matched precisely.
What do the three settlement payments add up to?
$4,909.34 plus two $4,909.33 payments equals $14,728. The unredacted agreement controls actual dates and conditions.
Does the public excerpt provide usable payment instructions?
No. It refers to Schedule A, which is not provided here. Confirm current instructions through verified channels.
