The Paladin file
The public excerpt identifies Paladin Funding Group, abbreviated PFG, and a revenue purchase agreement. It describes a legal action and a proposed lump-sum settlement processed through counsel’s escrow account.
The practical issue in this example is execution: the settlement funds, required documentation and payment instructions must line up. A lower amount can still be difficult to perform if the business relies on uncertain incoming receipts or assumes a transfer will arrive immediately.
- Name shown
- Paladin Funding Group, abbreviated PFG.
- Underlying document
- A revenue purchase agreement and settlement of a stated legal action.
- Distinct issue
- Lump-sum funding, payment instructions and additional charges.
- Independent legal representation
- Business Debt Law Group is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting for Paladin Funding Group.
Read the Paladin amount alongside its payment requirements.
The excerpt identifies a $234,750.20 balance and a conditional $150,000 settlement payment. Our published result note separately identifies an additional $50 wire fee per payment, excluded from that comparison. The stated settlement amount therefore should not be treated as an all-in cost figure.

Partial, redacted excerpt from one matter. Other pages, amendments and later events may affect these terms. This discussion does not summarize the complete agreement or case. Acceptance, completed payment, releases and the final outcome require verification from the complete records. This is not a standard offer or promised result. Past results do not guarantee a similar outcome.
Test the proposed transfer before committing to the date.
Map where the lump sum would come from, when it can clear and what operating cash remains afterward. Do not base a promise on receivables that are still disputed, held or already committed to other MCA obligations. Any change to the payment date should be documented by a party with authority.
Request a written breakdown of transfer fees and other charges, and verify payment instructions through a trusted channel. The excerpt includes returned-payment provisions with different charges depending on the payment arrangement. The complete agreement is needed to determine which provisions actually apply to the proposed payment.
Review nonpayment obligations as well. The visible text refers to bank-account information and conduct affecting transfers. Ask what information must be supplied, through which secure method and by when. Resolve conflicts between specific payment terms and more general form language before signing.
Where does your Paladin matter stand?
MCA payments are too much
Prepare a cash forecast for the proposed lump sum and account for other funders’ debits and essential business expenses.
Receivables or accounts are affected
Identify any receipts on hold before treating them as a source for Paladin’s settlement payment.
Court papers have arrived
Ask how the agreement handles the pending action, deadlines and release documents after the transfer clears.
Four practical first steps.
- Check for a court deadline. If you received court papers, identify where the case is filed and when a response is due. Settlement discussions do not automatically extend a deadline.
- Put the records in one place.Collect the agreement, payment history, bank statements, and every notice. Preserve emails and texts, including any proposed settlement terms.
- Review a proposed change before signing.A new agreement, acknowledgment, release, or guarantee can affect your rights and obligations. Have its terms reviewed in context.
- Discuss a plan for your actual situation.Ask which legal or negotiation options fit the documents, cash flow, and litigation status—and what representation would cost.
Paladin MCA questions, answered.
Is $150,000 the complete cost shown in the Paladin result?
It is the stated settlement amount. The published library note identifies an additional $50 wire fee per payment outside the comparison. Read the full terms for all applicable charges.
Can I assume the settlement can be paid in installments?
No. The visible example specifies a lump-sum payment. A different schedule requires an actual agreement; do not infer one from general references elsewhere in a form.
What if the wire will arrive after the agreed date?
Raise the issue promptly and seek a documented extension through the appropriate parties. Sending funds or asking for more time does not itself change the written deadline.
Why review bank-information requirements?
They can be separate obligations under the proposed settlement. Understand what is requested, how to provide it securely and whether a failure to provide it is defined as a default.
