The TVT file

The January 16, 2025 Yellowstone consent order names TVT Cap Fund LLC and TVT Capital HR, LLC among the settling entities. Its debt-cancellation provisions address covered MCA obligations, including specified fees, settlement amounts and unsatisfied judgments.

Those precise names and the order's scope matter more than a shortened TVT label. The government case is not a BDLG result. This page does not say that every business using TVT is covered, or that an unexamined judgment or lien has already been removed.

Your contract / Your records

Confirm coverage before treating an old balance as a new negotiation.

Match the company and transaction

Use the signed agreement and any assignment documents. Preserve differences in entity names instead of shortening them to a common brand. Ask counsel to explain why the account is or is not within the order.

Read the latest collection document

Keep the date, sender, claimed balance and attached support. Include any earlier resolution or payment made after it. A current letter should be evaluated against the relevant order and account history.

Verify the public record

Obtain the judgment and any later vacatur order, or the UCC filing and any termination. A broad description of relief cannot establish what is presently recorded in your business's specific case.

The details that change the review

A covered obligation and a corrected record are related questions.

A business may learn about a historical matter when a bank, processor or new funding provider flags a record. Keep the exact search result or notice that triggered the problem. This lets counsel identify whether the issue is a balance demand, a court entry, a financing statement or another restriction.

If the sender relies on an assignment or a later agreement, include that document in the review. Do not assume that a changed letterhead either defeats or establishes settlement coverage. The transaction, parties and legal effect of the documents need to be considered together.

For deadlines and administration, use the current official settlement information and applicable orders. This guide is not an invitation to submit a new timely claim under an expired process. It is an account-and-record review guide for business owners seeking to understand an existing issue.

Before the next call or deadline

Four practical first steps.

  1. Check for a court deadline. If you received court papers, identify where the case is filed and when a response is due. Settlement discussions do not automatically extend a deadline.
  2. Put the records in one place.Collect the agreement, payment history, bank statements, and every notice. Preserve emails and texts, including any proposed settlement terms.
  3. Review a proposed change before signing.A new agreement, acknowledgment, release, or guarantee can affect your rights and obligations. Have its terms reviewed in context.
  4. Discuss a plan for your actual situation.Ask which legal or negotiation options fit the documents, cash flow, and litigation status—and what representation would cost.
Questions about this funder

TVT questions, answered.

Is the word TVT enough to establish coverage?

No. Match the exact parties and transaction with the court order rather than relying only on a brand or abbreviated debit description.

Did BDLG obtain the government settlement?

No. It is cited as a public legal source, not as a firm result.

What if an old record still appears?

Bring the exact record and any subsequent order or filing. Counsel can assess what it shows and what further action may be available.

Does this also cover Delta Bridge or Cloudfund?

Do not apply this page's TVT analysis to another company. Use the separate company guide and the controlling documents for that obligation.

What does the free case review cover?

The initial consultation can address your funding agreement, payment pressure, collection communications or case status. Any retained legal-service fees are separate and addressed in the engagement terms.
